Cod Fishing Brighton

Cod is the fish most of our customers want for the table. The late spring and summer cod fishing on the wrecks is mostly drift fishing, which is changed into anchoring in late summer.

Winter sees the really large Cod coming in shore on the ground.



After a few years of Cod shortages, they are now coming back to Brighton, thanks to the various bans on commercial fishing. Most are in the 5 -8 lb class but they are getting bigger, upto 20 lbs plus!
