Skippers

Main skipper Noel West started his fishing career as a deckie on North Sea trawlers working out of Lowestoft on the east coast. He holds an RYA Yachtmaster qualification both in sail and motor, endorsed for commercial operation. Boats and fishing are his hobby and working life, both of which he enjoys immensely.

Relief skipper

Nick Light has been running charter boats out of Brighton Marina since 1989 and learnt his fishing skills, growing up in Weymouth. He holds an RYA Offshore (Motor) Yachtmaster certificate, endorsed for commercial operation. He has owned various boats for over 40 years and still very much enjoys working in the charter fishing industry.

Beaufort Charters believe that customers are their number one priority, and the skippers' aim is to provide an enjoyable day out for everyone. Both are happy to help and instruct when needed and also enjoy learning from their more knowledgeable passengers.
