Aquavitesse
was conceived and designed for the rough waters off the West Scottish
Islands and is based on the 1st choice catamaran hull for charter
fishing, which gives a seaworthy and dry vessel with excellent rough
weather stability
Engines
Twin Yanmar 4.2 litre turbocharged intercooled diesel engines each
generating 315 HP, driving Hamilton water jets to give you a fast
and gentle ride with no underwater propellers to catch fishing lines
or flotsam. The maximum boat speed is 25 knots and the cruising
speed is 18 knots with a full load.
Licence
Licensed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to carry up
to 12 passengers 60 miles from any safe haven. Surveyed to COP60.
Insurance
Insured with Lloyds to give passenger cover up to £3,000,000.
Safety equipment
Life raft and life jackets for 14 people, flares, fire extinguishers,
gas and bilge alarms fitted, together with VHF radio and mobile
phone. A first-aid kit is also carried on board. |

Electric flush toilet, microwave oven, drop-down TV/DVD player,
CD/radio, fridge, coffee and tea-making facilities, cabin
space for all, canopy fitted to provide weather protection
from rain and sun, side and rear gates for easy access. |

GPS for precise satellite navigation, colour daylight radar,
colour fish-finder and autopilot, 240 Volt and 12 Volt supplies
available on board. |

Each child under 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is expected
to provide supervision and help at all times.
